Time to set sail to Gasparilla! Arrgh you ready?

Ahoy! The 106th Gasparilla Invasion and Parade of the Pirates presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla is this Saturday and we want to make sure you are prepared with all the information you need.

 

Gasparilla Mayor’s Raid – Tuesday, January 25th

Watch pirates descend on Downtown at 11:30am with Mayor Castor arriving by 12pm in Lykes Gaslight Park. Please note that this event includes theatrical cannon fire and loud noises.

 

Gasparilla Pirate Fest – Saturday, January 29th

Watch the Invasion from 11:30am – 1pm at the Tampa Convention Center, with the official parade beginning at 2pm on Bayshore Blvd.

Tampa Fresh Foods, a grocery store made entirely of felt, opens at Water Street

Tampa Fresh Foods, presented by The Vinik Family Foundation and the Art Production Fund, is now open at Asher Residences at 1050 Water Street! This new art exhibition by Lucy Sparrow features a grocery store with thousands of handmade items made from fabric. This new Water Street Tampa experience is free to the public and is open daily from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. until February 20, 2022.

Visit Tampa Bay hopes Riverwalk Attraction Pass brings tourists, locals to Downtown

Visit Tampa Bay has launched the Riverwalk Attraction Pass, a discounted ticket to seven attractions including the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, the Henry B. Plant Museum, the Florida Aquarium, Glazer Children’s Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center, and the Pirate Water Taxi.

 

“The Riverwalk Attraction Pass is a great one-stop shop for visitors and locals to experience our incredible gems along the Hillsborough riverfront,” explained Santiago C. Corrada, president and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. “This pass not only gives consumers a chance to discover the treasures of the Tampa Riverwalk, but it also continues to boost economic impact for our destination.”
