Tampa’s Black History Museum, 1213 Central Avenue, will host an “Art & Soul” on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. This free event is open to the public.

“Art & Soul” will feature an evening of fellowship, light refreshments, exceptional entertainment, ethnic culture, and Black history. The artistry of soloist Darlene Butler, songstress Enoree Cummings, the Saint Luke AME Church Children’s Choir, and the talented youth of the Walton Academy for the Performing Arts will be showcased.

The event is presented by the Tampa Bay History Center, the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), and the Tampa Housing Authority.
