Located in between Tampa Heights and Water Street, Downtown’s River Arts neighborhood brings a lively and engaging artistic energy to Tampa’s Downtown. Containing some of Tampa’s most historic and iconic buildings such as the Tampa Theatre and Hotel Flor, amongst several others, the River Arts neighborhood has a rich cultural history that spans almost 100 years, and continues to survive, thrive, and evolve.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

Enjoy this 8-acre park that features a unique urban design, sustainable construction, and operational features. This park includes amenities such as the Great Lawn, that boasts flexible perimeter seating to accommodate a variety of programs, performances, a dog run, a kiosk with restrooms, and more! 

Tampa Riverwalk

The pride and joy of Tampa’s Downtown is our Riverwalk! Take in the beauty of the water along this beautiful 2.6 mile walk that runs through the Hillsborough River to the Garrison Channel. Be sure to walk, bike, or scooter your way through the Riverwalk and stop at one of the many bars, restaurants, or attractions along the way!

Tampa Theatre

Managed by the Tampa Theatre Foundation, this single-auditorium movie palace hosts over 600 events each year including a full schedule of contemporary and classic films, live concerts, special events, tours, and educational programs!

Straz Center for Performing Arts
