Joshua Bell

The scholar’s symposium this year is during Gasparilla, and it’s called “‘A Hell of Our Own’: Pirates, Sailors, and Coastal Identities in Early America”. The presenter will be Dan Walden, associate professor of English at Baylor University. Pirates.

A celebration of Downtown Tampa’s rich arts and culture scene. Nine museums and performing arts venues offer extended hours, free or value-added admission, and/or special programming. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
Held annually during the first weekend in March in downtown Tampa, it is a true showcase. Featured art includes ceramic, digital, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor and wood.
