All summer long, Instruments4Life has partnered with us to expose Downtown’s Central Park Neighborhood to musical instruments and the history of Central Ave.
You won’t want to miss this evening filled with delicious food, heartfelt performances by the mentors at Instruments4Life and opportunities for your little ones to learn how to play an instrument.

The Tampa Downtown Partnership is eager for the return of our annual Special Services District (SSD) Community Meetings! The first meeting will take place on TOMORROW at 8:30am at Rivergate Tower, Suite 1010.
As a part of the SSD renewal process, the Partnership will be holding three community meetings on July 16, July 18, and July 23.
We encourage all property and business owners, residents, and stakeholders to share ideas on how to maintain and improve Tampa’s Downtown image by attending one of the three meetings.

Rhythm & Hues: An Alleyway Art Show is BACK on Friday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm in the alleyway adjacent to Franklin St. and Henderson Ave.
Once a quarter, this event showcases the artistic prowess of Tampa’s local creatives. Artistic mediums such as poetry, visual art, fashion, and music are all celebrated at this special event.
NEW this quarter will be an Open Mic Night component that will allow participants to show off their vocal ability or their poetic skill!

n 1992, the City of Tampa established Archives Awareness week to recognize the importance of documenting and preserving Tampa’s unique heritage.
In honor of this special week, the Tampa Bay History Center will be holding several Archive Awareness Week events starting TODAY with “100 Years Ago: Tampa in 1924” from 3:00pm – 4:00pm!

We have great news! Our Community Fitness in the Park program’s Barre in the Park will resume on Wednesday, July 31 at 6:00pm!
The Partnership provides FREE weekly fitness classes held in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. These classes give attendees the chance to get up and active, while fostering community.
