The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters, and has set up a donation site for Hurricane Irma victims.
Community Foundation of Tampa Bay’s Tampa Bay Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund provides a trusted and reliable way to donate to local storm recovery efforts and 100% of the funds collected thorough this effort will be directed to address immediate and mid- to long-term recovery needs through the provision of grants to select nonprofits.
Donors Choose is helping teachers at damaged schools rebuild their classrooms with materials like books, furniture, classroom supplies, technology, and therapy resources. 100% of public donations to the Hurricane Irma Recovery Fund will support classrooms damaged by the storm. Feeding Tampa Bay is coordinating efforts to provide people with food and supplies.
