Blithe Spirit Begins 8pm Stageworks Theatre Charles Condomine, a mediocre novelist, summons a medium to his hime to study “the techniques” of spiritualists for his new book. Along with Ruth, his second wife, and Dr. and Mrs. Bradman, close friends, he participates in a seance conducted by Madame Arcati, who supplies Charles with more than he bargained for. She produces a “protoplasmic manifestation” in the form of Elvira, Charles’s deceased first wife whom only he (and the audience) can see and hear. With farce and wit unleashed, playwright Noel Coward presents some of his best comic characters in a situation full of spirits and satire. Blithe Spirit

Find out what The Florida Aquarium is doing to help protect the ocean and the life in it, as well as easy ways you can help, too! Wet Hot American Summer (2001) 10:30pm to 12:15am Tampa Theatre Set on the last day of camp during summer in the early 1980s, this film follows a group of camp counselors each trying to complete their unfinished business before the day’s end. An entire summer of pent-up sexual tension, unresolved stress, pending separations, and a looming talent show all weigh heavily on the minds of counselors and campers alike. Jazz in the Bay Begins 1pm Water Works Park Ben Tankard is a former professional basketball player and an American gospel, jazz keyboardist and producer, bestselling author, recording artist, and songwriter with over 300 songs recorded. Tankard has earned 15 Stellar Awards (the highest of any musician), 15 gold records, and six platinum records in his career to date. He was recently inducted into the Stellar Awards Hall of Fame. The Blind Side (2009) 3pm to 5:15pm Tampa Theatre The story of Michael Oher, a talented offensive lineman headed for greatness in football, despite severely unstable living situations. He finds himself out on the street until a family takes him in and helps him get into college and become the NFL star he’s destined to be. Following the screening, special guest Quinton “Big Mike” Aaron will answer audience questions and pose for photos.
