The chefs have taught thousands of people how to cook and have fun in the kitchen for the past 20 years. Open Rehearsal – Die Fledermaus Begins 6:30pm Straz Center for the Performing Arts Opera aficionados and neophytes alike always enjoy a behind-the-scenes peek into a rehearsal with Managing Director and Choral Master Robin Stamper, observing the director and artists working on scenes for the upcoming opera production. Iron & Wine Begins 7:30pm Tampa Theatre Iron & Wine will take to the historic Tampa Theatre stage with special guest OHMME. Iron & Wine is the musical project of singer-songwriter Sam Beam. Born in South Carolina and currently residing in North Carolina, the former film professor got his start making home recordings before landing on venerable Sub Pop Records. Iron & Wine
Latin Nights Begins 7:30pm Straz Center for the Performing Arts Maestro’s Restaurant transforms into a Latin supper club, featuring a live salsa band, dancing, tapas and drink specials. A new menu features delicious tapas, and patrons can dance the night away to the thrilling Latin rhythms of Son Salvaje.
