Shameka Conwell is a highly motivated leader and organizational problem-solver with over a decade of experience in strategic relationship building, event coordination, and program management. With a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, fostering donor relations, and executing high-level events within both the academic and nonprofit sectors, she excels in creating impactful experiences.

Shameka joined the Partnership in February 2025. She is currently the Member Relations Manager at the Tampa Downtown Partnership, her role focuses on the Partnership’s membership base and leading the planning of outreach initiatives, programs, and events.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of South Florida, Shameka is passionate about connecting with people and fostering community development. She has long been an admirer of Tampa’s Downtown, relishing the opportunity to witness its transformation into the vibrant metropolitan area it is today. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys thrill-seeking adventures, exploring the arts, and discovering new hiking trails with her son and German Shepherd puppy.
