Othello by William Shakespeare Begins 8pm Jobsite Theater Backstabbing politicians, two-faced frenemies, gaslighting, treachery, true love and the never-ending cultural complications of a “black ram tupping a white ewe,” Shakespeare’s Othello might as well be talking about this year’s headlines. The Simon & Garfunkel Story Begins 7:30pm Tampa Theatre Using huge projection photos and original film footage, this show features a full live band performing all the hits. The immersive concert-style show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ’60s to their dramatic split in 1970. Each character is based on actual hotel staff and guests. From the reminiscences of Henry Plant himself to the letters of a Spanish-American War soldier, you will learn more about the time period through each character’s particular vantage point.
