Ernest Janning, one of the most influential German legal minds of the pre-war era, and other influential Nazis face a military tribunal in the second wave of post war trials at Nuremberg. The Man Who Walked Backward: Ben Montgomery with John Capouya Begins 1:30pm Oxford Exchange A masterful storyteller, Ben Montgomery offers a rich, quirky slice of Americana, drawing on Plennie Wingo’s letters home, Plennie’s own account of his trip, and archival research on the rapidly transforming world of the 1920s and 30s. Follies Begins 2pm Straz Center for the Performing Arts Filmed live. Exported around the world. This acclaimed series brings filmed versions of great performances from Britain’s theater scene to the high-definition movie screen. There’s a party on the stage of the Weismann Theatre in New York in 1971. Tomorrow, the iconic building will be demolished.
