Rocky Bleier in The Play Begins 8:30pm Straz Center for the Performing Arts Steelers legend Rocky Bleier makes the play of a lifetime in this highly theatrical, stunningly authentic one-man show. Four-time Super Bowl champ Bleier performs The Play, written by Pittsburg Post-Gazette sports writer Gene Collier and directed by veteran Broadway performer Scott C. Wise. Set in three bars pivotal to Bleier’s life, The Play takes audiences through his almost unbelievable life story that travels through family, war and into the heart of Steeler Nation. Battle Royale 10:30pm to 12:30am Tampa Theatre Video games featuring a “battle royale” format like Fortnite are sweeping the nation. These games are based on the basic narrative model pioneered by Battle Royale. High school kids are imprisoned on an island, sprinkled with weaponry, and told to kill or be killed.
