Hurricane Debby has made landfall in Florida’s big bend region this morning. While the worst of the storm will not affect our region, Tampa’s Downtown is still under storm surge, tornado, and flooding advisories.
Be sure to act and travel accordingly so that you and your loved ones remain safe and dry.

City of Tampa offices and services are open today (August 5), including trash, recycling, SWEEP, and yard waste collections Self Report Storm Damage: After every storm, the City of Tampa’s Public Works and Code Enforcement teams report damages to Hillsborough County and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). By filling out the Resident Damage Self-Reporting Form at tampa.gov/SelfReport, residents can help city crews identify damages more efficiently and report back to county, state, and federal authorities. This form does not replace a homeowner’s private property insurance claims.
