The Tampa Downtown Partnership wishes everyone a safe and happy New Year!
2024 was a blast, and we look forward to continuing to serve our Downtown community next year.
The past several weeks of celebrating the holiday season with our Downtown residents and visitors has been nothing short of magical. There’s less than ONE week left to enjoy all of the holiday fun at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
What’s in store?
– End of Season Sale: From January 3 – January 5, enjoy discounts and savings at the shops at Winter Village, delivered by PODS Moving & Storage.
– Holiday trivia on New Year’s Day
– Festive food & beverage vendors
– Silent disco
– Ice skating
– A series of ice shows (the remaining shows will take place tomorrow, January 3, January 4, and January 5, all at 7:00pm!)
– Curling & so much more!
Another themed skate night will be held TOMORROW! Tomorrow’s theme will be “Holiday Shimmer”. Sparkle the night away to celebrate the arrival of a SHINING new year! You’ll also be able to enter a raffle by scanning a QR code for a chance to win a FREE Winter Village swag basket!

Our monthly event, Downtown’s Backyard Market will be BACK on Thursday, January 9, from 12:00pm – 4:30pm!
Start your year on a fresh note by joining us for our take on a traditional farmer’s market! There will be over a dozen vendors bringing you locally sourced farm-fresh deliciousness.
Due to the upcoming holidays, some of our Community Fitness in the Park classes will be cancelled.
This week, we will only be holding:
– Pilates in the Park (Thursday)
– Yoga in the Park (Sunday)
Beginning Sunday, January 5, our normal weekly Community Fitness in the Park class schedule will resume, beginning with Yoga in the Park!

Do you have an idea that has the potential to further beautify Tampa’s Downtown? If so, consider applying for one of our two active grants:
– Neighborhood Enhancement Grant: Tampa’s Downtown Neighborhood Enhancement Grant is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods. The program offers annual grants of up to $5,000 to each of the seven neighborhoods in Tampa’s Downtown.
– Storefont & Sidewalk Cafe Grant: The Storefront and Sidewalk Cafe Grant serves to create a more attractive pedestrian atmosphere and commercially vibrant environment through street-level storefront improvements and inviting sidewalk cafe settings. The program offers grants of up to $10,000 administered on a reimbursement basis, allowing for up to $5,000 grant funds to be reimbursed every two years.
