Paw-Fee Break returns TOMORROW

Take a break from your work desk and head to Washington Street Park TOMORROW for this month’s Paw-Fee Break!

 

From 10:30am – 1:00pm, we’ll be partnering with Victory Coffee and Pooch Natural Living to deliver FREE quality coffee and puppy treats to Tampa’s Downtown.

APPLY: The Glazer Family Foundation has launched a $1 million Small Business Fund

In December of 2024, it was announced at the Tampa Bay Chamber’s 139th Annual Meeting that the Glazer Family Foundation would be launching a $1 million Small Business Fund!

 

Providing grants of up to $5,000, qualifying small businesses across Tampa Bay and West Central Florida that were affected by Hurricane Milton last year are encouraged to apply for this grant TODAY!

 

NOTE: The application closes on SUNDAY. Grant recipients will be announced during the week of February 17.

Head to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for Viva Tampa Bay Hispanic Heritage Festival

The 9th Annual Viva Tampa Hispanic Heritage Festival, presented by GTE, returns to Curtis Hixon Park THIS weekend!

 

On February 1 and February 2, come out and enjoy one of the largest Hispanic heritage events in Tampa Bay.

Blind Date with a Book

  • When: Monday, February 10 from 4:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Where: Snow Park
  • Enjoy an evening of enthralling literature brought to you by the Hillsborough County Public Library! With complimentary tea and a plethora of books to uncover, your next favorite read is sure to find you.

 

Channel District Date Night

  • When: Wednesday, February 13 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Where: Washington Street Park
  • Grab a friend or a special someone and enjoy a date night hosted by the Partnership’s Ivy Lupco! Celebrate the season of love and join us for a fun and unique wax candle painting session.

Head to the Tampa Bay History Center for "Cigar City: Bringing Industry to Tampa"

Tomorrow at 2:00pm, head to the Tampa Bay History Center to learn all about Tampa’s historic cigar industry at “Cigar City: Bringing Industry to Tampa”.

 

This 20-minute docent-led tour is offered everyTuesday at 2:00pm, allowing participants to discover how the skilled cigar artisans shaped the city’s cultural identity that earned it the nickname “Cigar City”!

APPLY: Neighborhood Enhancement Grant & Storefront/Sidewalk Grant

Do you have an idea that has the potential to further beautify Tampa’s Downtown? If so, consider applying for one of our two active grants:

 

  • Neighborhood Enhancement Grant: Tampa’s Downtown Neighborhood Enhancement Grant is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods. The program offers annual grants of up to $5,000 to each of the seven neighborhoods in Tampa’s Downtown.
  • Storefont & Sidewalk Cafe Grant: The Storefront and Sidewalk Cafe Grant serves to create a more attractive pedestrian atmosphere and commercially vibrant environment through street-level storefront improvements and inviting sidewalk cafe settings. The program offers grants of up to $10,000 administered on a reimbursement basis, allowing for up to $5,000 grant funds to be reimbursed every two years.
