Women’s History Month (March 1 – March 31) is a time to reflect upon the copious contributions women have made to the betterment of society. From being sisters, friends, mothers, daughters, doctors, lawyers, and so much more, women are integral to the fabric of our communities.
Even though we are almost halfway through the month, there are still a variety of events being held in Tampa’s Downtown that celebrate and bring together inspiring women!

Great news! Downtown’s Tampa Convention Center has been awarded the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver for Building Operations and Maintenance (O+M).
This certification is proof that the Convention Center is going above and beyond to ensure that it is operating at the highest level of sustainability. Green buildings also provide the people that occupy them a more healthy and comfortable work space.
LEED, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, and an international symbol of excellence!
