Ice Skating – Head to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park to ice skate on REAL ice! We’re excited to bring this signature Winter Village experience back to this year’s festivities! We will also have Themed Skate Nights on Tuesdays that include giveaways.
Winter Village Express – Hop aboard the Winter Village Express and take a magical holiday trip on the TECO Line Streetcar. On select Sundays, this one-hour, round-trip ride from Downtown’s Whiting station (not in Curtis Hixon Park) to historic Ybor City features holiday sing alongs, trivia, free milk and cookies, and festive surprises for the whole family. Rides are available on November 24, December 1, 8, 15, and 22!

Over the past 60 days, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have affected thousands of Tampa Bay Bay Area citizens, as many have experienced damage to homes, vehicles, and the loss of personal property. Sacred Heart Church aims to provide relief to those impacted by the storms to help families recover and rebuild.
Head to the North Campus (formerly Sacred Heart Academy; 3515 N Florida Avenue) on Saturday, November 9, from 9:00am – 11:00am for the church’s “Giving from the Heart” drive-thru donation event.
Members from Sacred Heart’s Knights of Columbus Council #12110 will be there to collect and collate all donated items, with volunteers from Love INCO of Metro Tampa assisting in distributing items to families.

The Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART), the operator of the TECO Line Streetcar, invites riders, residents, and stakeholders to participate in a public hearing on Thursday, November 7 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at the HART Ybor Administrative Offices to discuss TECO Line Streetcar fare-reinstatement.
For the past six years, the TECO Line Streetcar has offered fare-free rides. However, after the expiration of several Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grants, discussions concerning fare-reinstatement are underway.
HART and the TECO Line Streetcar encourages the public to submit feedback on this issue by taking an online survey. Additionally, If you’re unable to attend the hearing, you can view the meeting live on HARTS official YouTube channel.

As a result, the University has been honored with a bronze-level Bicycle Friendly University award from the League of American Bicyclists that recognizes their achievements!
The League of American Bicyclists is the primary grassroots advocacy organization that encourages better bicycling, and aims to protect the rights of those who bike!

The Tampa Downtown Partnership (the Partnership) is requesting experienced organizations to provide proposals to demonstrate the ability to serve as the Downtown Area Shared Hubs (DASH) Technology Provider.
The Partnership is seeking a technology provider to engage in a one-year contract with the ability to extend for two (2) additional years. Responses will be submitted electronically to the Partnership via email at info@tampasdowntown.com. Responses must be submitted by Friday, December 13, 2024, by 5:00 PM EST.
