• Monday, November 11 from 4:30pm – 7:30pm – Blind Date with a Book: Join us in West Riverfront’s Snow Park for an evening of great literature, tea, and a chance to receive your own Hillsborough County Public Library card! You’ll be able to choose from dozens of books to enjoy while lounging in our comfortable furniture provided by Contract Furniture. We hope to see you there!

• Wednesday, November 13 at 7:00pm – Channel District Date Night: Grab a significant other or a friend and get ready for a crafty night! We’re excited to be joined by Regina Pottery as she teaches the attending couples how to create a pour over and coffee mug set. We’ll also be joined by Mi Cafecito who will be teaching attendees how to brew the perfect pour over with samples! NOTE: this event is free to attend but you MUST register!

• Neighborhood Enhancement Grant: Tampa’s Downtown Neighborhood Enhancement Grant is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods. The program offers annual grants of up to $5,000 to each of the seven neighborhoods in Tampa’s Downtown.

• Storefont & Sidewalk Cafe Grant: The Storefront and Sidewalk Cafe Grant serves to create a more attractive pedestrian atmosphere and commercially vibrant environment through street-level storefront improvements and inviting sidewalk cafe settings. The program offers grants of up to $10,000 administered on a reimbursement basis, allowing for up to $5,000 grant funds to be reimbursed every two years.

Mark your calendar for the return of Downtown’s annual seven week-long holiday activation, Winter Village Tampa!

From Friday, November 22 – Sunday, January 5 we’ll be spreading holiday cheer in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park with a host of activities, themed nights, food and beverage vendors, shops, and more.

NEW: This year, we’re excited to introduce our very first Winter Village Holiday Tree Contest! If you’re a business or an organization, this contest presents a perfect opportunity to promote your brand by decorating a tree with your company swag. Bring your team together, get creative, and light up Winter Village with your unique decorating theme! NOTE: The application deadline is Thursday, October 31, and the selection notices will go out on Thursday, November 7.

Our Community Fitness in the Park Classes return this week! We can’t wait to resume encouraging Tampa’s Downtown to get out and active at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

NEW: We’re pleased to be providing a NEW Pilot class, “Mindful Motion in the Park”, hosted by Mindful Prof.! Join us this Wednesday for your LAST chance to try out this new class. Be sure to let us know if you love it!

The Partnership provides FREE weekly fitness classes held in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. These classes give attendees the chance to get up and active, while fostering community.

Please consider contributing toward a “Thank You” bag, which will be presented to each team member at the Annual Employee Recognition Luncheon on December 12! Each year, these bags serve as a token of our appreciation and gratitude for the impact our Clean and Safe team has on Tampa’s Downtown!
